Chicken owners always have their chickens in the bath tub.

I had a chicken fall into a huge bucket of oil.. had to get dawn dish washing soap to get it out..

Early in our marriage we were having carpeting installed in the living room. (Yeah, a long time ago.) The installer asked my wife, "Was that a rooster that I just heard crow outside?" Her reply, "No that was a rooster you just heard crow in the cellar." His response to his helper, "Just like the Beverly Hillbillies." Can you believe the Princess wanted me to move all of my light brown leghorn bantams back outside???? The roosters were all in the cellar so that their combs would not freeze. Seemed right to me.

I crack myself up with all creative places [my DH says] I spread chicken germs. Just last week I was cuddling a guinea keet back to life in our bed...

DH - "Why is there a chicken in the shower?"

Me - "I wanted to take a long soak in the tub so I moved her to the shower for a little bit and forgot to put her back in the tub."

DH - "Why was the chicken in the tub to start with?"

Me - "Because the DS came home and wanted to play in his room and she got cranky at all the noise he was making."

DH - "Let me start again. Why is there a chicken in the house and not in the coop?"

Me - "Why do you ask weird questions after 20+ years of marriage?"
