Why Arent My Chickens Laying Eggs?

So our 3 young Barred Rock chickens are 22 weeks old, and they havent started laying eggs. We arent very worried about our Easter Egger because they take longer to lay eggs, but anyway, we dont know why our chickens havent started laying eggs yet. Its cold up where we are, so we are wondering if that may be it, but we arent sure. We also think it could be stress because we have a dog who likes to go outside and bark for no reason. Does anybody have any thoughts on why they arent laying eggs yet?

Barred Rocks take a bit longer to mature than many other breeds. Mine never started to lay until about 24-26 weeks of age. Patience, grasshopper !

My pullets have started laying in a community nest box I built for my older hens (they use regular nest boxes now) I found 3 dozen eggs in it yesterday.
