If tthere is no Agway or Tractor Supply store near you then look for a feed and seed store. Most of these kind of places cater to the horse lover and will have many horse supplies as well as feed. If all else fails check with your local Ace or TrueValue hardware store, if they don't have feed they can probably tell you where to go or even order you a snall bag or two.

The people at the feed and seed store will be one of your best sources of information about your birds close to your home. If you can post a picture and someone here will be able to tell you what kind of chickens you have. Let's just hope that you weren't given birds that are 7 or 8 years old, they kind of tend to quit laying when they get older.
