Do they know I have a list? I have 7 hens and 2 roos and get one egg ever 1-2 weeks! Ive done everything I can think of! Ive been putting Vitamins and Electrolytes in ice cubes and putting them in their fresh water. Ive added apple cider vinegar. I have a fan on them. They have plenty of ventilation, but have a covered area. They have a clean living area, nesting boxes. I put Oyster shell free choice. They eat Dumor Layer crumbles. Is there anything else I can do? I dust them every 2 weeks to 1mo (not them any of them show any signs of mites or lice or are even lathargic). They all have bright red combs. Is there something else I can feed them to induce laying? lol I have a pad lock on their cage to make sure nobody is stealing them. No holes under the coop. No one can get over. I am going to get snake repellent tomorrow in case that is a factor. No egg eaters for sure. No a sign of even a teeny piece of egg shell or yolk. Clean nesting boxes with fresh shavings. They love to go in there, but not lay. Ive had long talks with them and even threatened them if they continued to refuse to lay and nothing works! Help!

Its not too hot, but humid. All my other birds are laying and Msbear lives right down the street from me and hers are laying like crazy. As is every other chicken owner around heres chickens. They should be in their prime!!

AND! they are DELAWARES they are supposed to be egg laying machines and my rosecombs out lay them!!!

Uh, let's see. Mites, worms? Have they had a scare lately, or been moved? Are they getting broody?

ok...not possible for a secret stash......unless theyre collecting them inside of themselves. there are 0 mites or lice! as said before, they are dusted every 2-4 weeks. i havent wormed them, but see no signs of any worms.....tell me how, and ill worm them tomorrow. they shouldnt be stressed for any reason. no move, no new friends, no scare, no predator *knock on wood* Not molting, no feathers in coop. Delawares dont go broody. Plus, to go broody you must have a pile of eggs and stay in the nest. Definitely not broody. Im gonna get some plastic eggs and/or golf balls to stick in there next.
