Why arnT they laying eggs ?

I have a flock of 8 1 rooster and 7 hens and I just got two new hens I got a Easter egg her and a black copper maran the black copper maran layer me a egg about a week ago and my other hens my Rhode Island reds and black austrolops are laying why arnt my new ones laying I got them about 2 weeks ago thank you

Were they laying when you purchased or were they point of lay? Thinking they are young pullets at point of lay which means combs are red but not laying yet.

If they were laying then the stress of relocation can cause them to stop for a few weeks. With this scenario I usually find an egg in the box they were transported in or in coop day after they were transported. If they were laying one egg is usually being made in the reproductive track so will have one come out before they shut off making them for a week or two.
