Why can't I find a pug UPDATE PAGE 7

I have been looking everywhere for a pug I dont wantone from a breeder but I can't get one from a rescue because I have a small child...
I already have one she is a therapy dog .. I feel like screaming it's not like I'm picky I just want a fawn pug age 1 to 5.. Good with children and other dogs is it really to much to ask for..... Okay thanks for letting me rant!

Have you tried PetFinder.com? Theirs are not always rescues.

Breeders or rescue group, where else is there to get a dog?
People with kids are not allowed to adopt dogs?

Yes I found a few but they never want someone who has a child pugs love kids! or they are hundreds of miles away

Craigslist? I see people trying to find homes for their adult dogs on there all of the time. Also a lot of backyard breeders. That is where I am looking for a small dog for our family right now. Takes a lot of patience though it seems because most people want a small fortune even for their unfixed 2-3 year old dogs.
