Why can't I go to this forum: Sponsored Content, Contests, and Giveaways

Forgive me administrator for I have sinned! I totally understand how much work stands behind this platform and you're absolutely right. I disabled my ad blocker (by the way, it was Adblock Plus) for BYC and in the future I would like to buy a membership. I just forgot I had an ad blocker on, but I wouldn't disinstall mine, because browsing on Internet can be really hard with popups everywhere, video playing with sound and so on. As far as I can tell, this is not the case for BYC and I would like to buy a membership to support the site and not because of the ads (that aren't so intrusive here)... but I really really appreciate your work!
Thanks for the nice commments!

We work hard to limit the "annoyance factor" of ads, while still making sure we can provide all of the services to our millions of site-visitors for free :)

So, we're not 100% sure why the ad-blockers just started blocking this forum all-of-a-sudden, but we're not sure what we can / can't do about it.

We may try changing the name of the section (assuming that's one of the triggers), but I REALLY don't like this solution because it doesn't address the real problem: That the ad-blockers are blocking content that people want to see... and that our visitors don't consider that section, or the threads, as advertisements.

It would be GREAT if those of you peeps using ad-blockers are able to "report a bug", or otherwise send a message to the ad-blocking apps / companies that they should whitelist those sections.

So, this is something that just started happening with people who use ad-blockers? I wonder what changed?

Keep posting which ad-blocker y'all are using.

And again: Ad blockers should NOT be blocking content that people want to access, so there's clearly something wrong with what they changed recently (which is one of MANY reasons why I advise against them).

Yes, just a couple days ago.

It's uBlock Origin on Firefox.

I have to use an ad blocker because we have limited data available on rural, cell-based internet and downloading all those unwanted videos sucks data.
