Solved Why can't I post on the Facebook BYC?

I keep trying to post for weeks and it never works. Nothing I post goes through. I can post on this BYC just fine but not that one? I don't understand why.

Oh ok I see. It has a little check box if you had gone to this site before so that's why I thought that.

A lot of time groups on FB have it set so posts have to be approved by a moderator/admin before they show up. I don't know if that's the case here (I'm not on FB) but it could be. They do it to keep the group on topic

Yeah it says new members have to be reviewed but it has said that for weeks and nothing I ever comment is approved.

Hmm... Maybe there's a huge backlog... Or, I don't know how FB works in this regard, but maybe your posts were flagged as spam by bots or something? Try messaging one of the moderators of the group.

Ya it is way better here for sure. I just made a Facebook not long ago to find local homes for my boys but it didn't work out anyway. People just looking for a free meal or fighting bird. I'm not having that.

We (a necessary evil) do have a group and page on facebook, but a totally different set of moderators.

Also, the tools on FB are terrible, especially for our moderators. You'd think with their billions of $$ they could make tools as-good (or better) than what we have here... but they don't.

So, that's why we suggest everyone come here instead... where we have WAY better features and tools and 100% control over every aspect of the site!!
