Why can't I process my chickens?

I had initially planned on using a cone and neck slit so I already had a cone ready. After I used the broomstick I stuck him in there immediately and went inside to calm down. It was amazing how tidy everything was! I had a bucket under the cone and just cut the head off there. I had amlost no blood to clean up anywhete because yes, he bled out completely into the neck skin. If I get up the nerve to do it again it is definitely the method I will use again. I could tell it was over for him instantly and that was my main goal.

I just recently learned about obsidian blades, rather than steel. They're much sharper, to the point that an obsidian blade scalpel won't even enflame cells when used.

I think I might have to invest in one :/

That way, a cut would be so quick and clean, they wouldn't even realize it happened (like when you accidentally cut yourself on a brand new knife, only to realize it when you see you're bleeding)

That sounds like a very good choice! I never felt like anything was sharp enough for me to feel like it was instant.
