people that have never eating fresh eggs, don't understand what the difference is.
some city folk (and even country folk) are so used to the white eggs they get at the store, that they don't understand that farm fresh eggs are the same (well better imo). there was a post on here about crazy things people have asked chicken owners about the eggs and so forth. I know some have asked me if babies are in the eggs that I have, or if they are dirty. some don't understand that egg color depends on the breed not if they are dirty or clean.
if you explain to them that they are from well cared for chickens that get affection and enjoy a normal domesticated life, unlike mass producing chickens that mostly live in cages and don't even get to see the outdoors and live a fulfilling life. when people start to realize where things come from and how the animals are treated that give them the products they enjoy so much, it at least makes them stop and think of something other than the dollar price. I am one to try and save money every way I can, but these things help me to stop and think about what I am eating.
