You want to know something really bad? I don't even own chickens yet!!

But,we are moving to the country and I always wanted to own chicks, (BF said I can get 3 but I'm thinking more like 7), would love to have EE's, found this site and I am on it every morning and then again at nite, ADDICTED is not a word for me , maybe more like POSSESSED

After I read the different forums ,I tell BF about them and he just looks at me with that very strange face, like ,like OH NO ,,, I AM POSSESSED !!!!!

I also found BYC by accident, our chickens came to us by fate after our horse died. This site has been a blessing. I've had so many questions and everyone is so helpful and nice. I can't wait for time to sit and log on to see what's going on, and to learn more about my two girls. My family pretty much thinks I live in my own little world anyway, so the chickens are just another extension of that wonderful world of mine.

I don't have chickens either and I've been fighting the urge for a long time. I got here the same way many did...google! I must have read for about 30 hours off and on the first week when I finally cracked and just made an account. It's obvious to me I'm not leaving anytime soon

What I find amazing here is that not only do the members seem to understand the chicken obsession...many others have as many other types of pets as myself. My friends think I'm crackers with the pets....shoot so do my kids!
BUT...now I have validation! I have actually shown my children different members sig. lines to demonstrate that we are not the only ones on the planet who keep lots of animals
