WHY CANT I STOP!!!!!!!!!!!

Listen, as owner of the forum I respect the fact that many of you THINK you're addicted to BYC, but let's be honest...

Those of you with only a few hundred posts... I mean, come on.

Those of us with thousands of posts look back at the time when we had "just a few hundred posts" and smile. I mean, seriously, you don't know the depth of the addiction until YEARS have come and gone and you realize that there probably wasn't a time where more than 2-3 consecutive days went by that you didn't visit the forum (including vacations to places that weren't suppose to even have internet access... you find a way to get it... you always find a way to get it).

So, when you newbies that just joined in the past 6 months with a few hundred posts get to the point that you can really prove that you are TRUELY a BYC addict... then we'll invite you to our super secret BYC Anonymous group.

Sometimes it only takes one hit and you are addicted! And if you are the owner of the forum, then it is all your fault! Thanks for making me a NEW addict! LOL

serious answer... how I limit my addiction to just a two pack a day habit....

I click on the bottom of the page to "Show all my posts" link, and read and answer only the threads I have posted in before if I can't get too sucked in, then if I have more time, I click on Recent posts link in the blue toolbar at the top of the page, and that way I just get a quick overview of what everyone is posting and don't get sucked into each category one by one, page by page. I limit myself to only two pages deep or some such limit and that helps me to not completely go over the edge every time I log in here.

Hope it helps someone

Patty
