Why did my chicken die?

The truth is, we cannot tell you why your hen died. You'd have to have the state or your own vet do a necropsy to find the cause. All you can do without testing is to guess. Could be many reasons. Death in and of itself is not enough to go on.

no, they do not have any symptoms. I do not understand what is going on. They are very active and seem happy. They are eating and drinking as well.

I'm sorry to hear about your loss. Did she show any symptoms prior to her death? Any behaviour changes, unusual poop? Did you vaccinate your chickens against any diseases?
