Why do Chickens do that thing with their mouths? It looks like yawning.

I was wondering the same thing myself! Since it's been so hot lately I installed a fan inside my chicken coop to keep the chickens cool, and for some reason every time I turned it on they'd yawn every 2 seconds!

It Is yawning. They Yawn just as we do, only they are cuter!

All animals yawn... i think
