I soaked mine in a bowl of water for a bit first as they wouldn't eat them. They can't get enough of them now!

We've gotta be chicken-crazy to go to that much effort to entice them into eating something we really can't afford to feed to them! I LOVE it! ...I soaked mine in a bowl of water for a bit first as they wouldn't eat them. They can't get enough of them now!
Hi everyone. I buy a huge tub, of dried mealworms. My girls love them, it is their favorite
treat. I give them once or twice a week. The tub, is see through, and when they
see me coming, they all line up. lol When the tub, is all gone, and empty, i fill with
mixed corn, as it is easier to scatter for me. I laughed the other day, when they seen me
with the tub of corn, of course they thought it was mealworms. They were all lined up
waiting, for me to open the lid. When i do that is when they have, no manners at all. lol
They jump up, push each other, waiting for me to scatter some. But the other day,
when i scattered corn, instead, they all dived as usual, to get in first. lol But then it
hit home, it was corn. I am not kidding they all turned around, and gave me the dirtiest
looks going. ( IF LOOKS COULD KILL) I would not be writing this now. Wahhh They
were disgusted with me. A few decided to take it out on their swinging cabbage, and
others decided to have a dust bath. Not one of them ate the corn, and as you all know,
scatter anything and they will eat it. Which is a normal thing in chickens. However mine
are far from normal. lol They were literally sulking, like small children. They all looked
so gutted, and yes i went and got the mealworms, only because i did not want to be ignored any longer by them. Wahhh![]()
