Why do my chickens roll in the dirt

Chickens love a good dust bath so much they often fall asleep doing it - which makes their owners think they are really dead this time. If in serious doubt rattle the treat can and see if they wake up.

I have one chick who does this. I came here to research it because she is so lethargic right after she covers herself in dirt. The other two chicks don't do this much. Her name is May, but I'm thinking about renaming her Pig Pen. I'm glad it's normal behavior. She's not really dying this time, lol
