I went to my sister's and was offered iced tea. Iced tea being the National Drink Of Texas, and my favorite, I accepted the cold glass offered to me. It was nasty! My sister BUYS tea in a gallon jug at the grocery store. WHY?????? For the price of ONE gallon of nasty tea, she could buy TWO boxes of family sized tea bags and make 100 gallons of tea!!! What a WASTE of money to buy tea!!

Why do people use the handicap stall in the restroom to talk on the cell phone? Don't they know we can still hear them!!

You are like my oldest daughter(11), a iced tea snob. You would like her, she makes a fresh gallon twice a day, doesn't matter if there is a quart left. She can taste if it is any older than that.

I used to make great iced tea but then got out of the habit, and now whenever I make it, it doesn't taste good at all. I forgot the secret, I guess! Anyone want to clue me in?

Why do people.... drive slow in the passing lane on the highway? Don't they know it's illegal to travel in the passing lane, especially if they are impeding the flow of traffic?
Why do people .... drive so slow 45- 50 mpg........ what's that last 5 miles really gonna do for you? The roads I drive have few passing lanes... if they would just go the speed limit, I wouldn't have to pass and they wouldn't make me late for work. what takes me 1/2 hr, ends up taking me 50 minutes... I have to leave an hour early for work because of all the people going so slow. Personally, I think it's rude, and they should pull over or at least go the limit if they have 20 cars backed up behind them..
(oh and when I do get to pass, don't you dare speed up! )

Yes, I have lots of driving pet peeves... if people would just go the speed limit, I wouldn't have anything to complain about.

I live in a realllly small town, with one main road going through it. (Hey, I said it was small) This road is of course, completely no-passing. I get behind someone tonight going 15.

He did at one point get up to 25, almost speeding! Speed limit is 35 through there, by the way.

Our local main road had work done on it about 2 years ago. Well, the road crew decided to not put the speed limit signs back up. The speed limit on the road is 55 both ways, however, the first 1/2 mile is 45 one way and 35 the other. I can't tell you how many times I get stuck behind someone that does not know the real speed limit. The thing is, all the yellow sharp turn signs say 45mph throughout the entire road. I would assume after the 2-3 of the 45mph signs, they may realize that they are not supposed to be going 35mph.

I frequently drive a rural highway between towns for work. Passing lanes are far apart, and the road is very curvy and winding so no passing unless in a passing lane. I get behind Granny Grunt making her monthly trip to town in her 87 Buick with the cruise control set at 37 miles an hour. Then, of course, when we hit the passing lane where it's straight and flat, she wants to make up for lost time and floors it until she's going 75+ and I have a hard time passing cause I really don't want to drive THAT fast! Then, at the end of the passing lane, hit the brakes and back to 37. I swear, it happens over and over driving this road!!! Personally, I'd set my cruise at 62, all the corners are fine for me at that speed, and just get where I'm going. But no!

Just one of my many pet peeves. Hey, maybe I'm a pet peeve hoarder--I really have more than I can care for!
