Why Do People...(insert pet peve here)

I saw a study a while ago on BYC where true pit bulls were least likely to cause someone to go to the hospital because of a bite. Chihuahua was 2 or 3 on the list for most likely to bite.

Why do people tolerate barking dogs all day and night in their neighborhood, but can't stand a couple roosters crowing in the morning? This is one of my BIGGEST pet peeves.

We don't close doors here when leaving a room-we'd likely trap a critter in there-a cat or ferret.

I have two pet peeves I'll share.

1) When I have a get together with friends and we drink soda and beer and the next day I'm doing cleanup I go to pick up a can to realize it is 90% full.

2) When a relative wants eggs to be nice but doesn't really want eggs. My aunt said she loved how pretty my chickens were so I offered her a dozen eggs. I go to her house two months later and see 10 of the eggs in her fridge. We clean any dirty spots on our eggs after we collect them so I don't know why she's so afraid. I wonder how attractive she'd find a battery hen.

I have not tried this yet, but I am an iced tea expert. I add green tea to the hot water too, because its so full of good stuff!!! Anyway, on Pinterest it said to add 1/4 tsp. of baking soda to your iced tea. This is the secret to great tasting tea. Going to double check it again to see if I have the amount right, and then go for it. I made it once a day for sure, somtimes twice. I rarely if ever drink soda, and not too keen on Coffee . . .just loves me some tea!!!!

I mean, say I was in the office, and someone else left the office, and did not close the door. Also, we need to close the bathroom doors because our dog gets into the bathroom. And also I like the doors closed when I am in them because when I was little, my brother would come in and scare me, so I always close it.

I had to had to take Queenie to the vet, he said he would contact me about her blood test (turns out she has an over active thyroid) I asked him to ring today after three because I was on night shift Monday Tuesday. So he rings me on Tuesday in the afternoon on Tuesday, woke me up, he apologised and said he hadn't realised that I would be asleep on Tuesday morning. He knew I was working night shift on the Monday so how hard is it to figure out that if you are not sleeping at night you will be sleeping in the day?

Your #1 is why we switched to 2 liter bottles. I was tired of tossing half empty cans of soda. Now it's easy to just pour what you want, and much less waste. My friend has chickens, and she offered me some eggs today. You can believe I am going to use every single one!! One time I was cracking one of her eggs, and two yolks popped out. Too neat!!
