Hello!
I'm looking for someone who has been raising quail for awhile who I can interview on why they keep them.

No, just as a BYC article for people trying to decide what poultry to get.

Edit.

"Why interview"

I thought it would be nice to ask a person who raises poultry the same questions.

I haven't been raising them for long but I do know some members with children have them to show their children where some of their food comes from (kids love the kid sized eggs hehe) in the hopes that they will grow up to become adults who make humane decisions about their food. :)

How long have you been raising them?

I have quail going on three years now. So far, it's been rewarding and fun.

Watching them pair up in the spring, protect each other (as a pair) during laying season, splitting up in early fall to fortify the covey has been entertaining to watch.
