I read your little profile thing. Did you just lose a bunch of chickens?

Me? I've lost 3, and the rest are sweet boys I've had to rehome over the years. I can't keep roosters where I live so it's always hard saying goodbye.

I started with chickens for the eggs, feeding into my self sufficient lifestyle, but they quickly became part of the family. They are now pets with a purpose. I love each if them,talk to them, hold them, take care of them when they are sick etc. I won't add to my current flock, bc they are the OGs, lol. But will add another coop and flock in year or so, and to that flock I will add some each year to keep them going. My Winnie, white Leghorn, is my girl, my favorite
