Why do you like the BYC Forum?

I like it because it gives me a place to go to talk about things... like getting a second coop... or being excited over the next chicken swap, and no one thinks I have went off the deep end.

While in offline life, people question my sanity... I went to Home Depot last night to buy paint for the coop, a nicely dressed lady was at the paint counter as well, she looked at the paint sample in my hand and said "That is a lovely shade. Where is it going, in the dining room?"... when I responded that it was for a chicken coop, she looked at me like I had some horribly contagious disease and took a step away from me.

Weeeellll she probably would not have liked me, either. My first and third coops are painted to match the house.

I love it for all the different ideas, everything from chicken color/breeds to coops. I also like to just lurk and learn.

Yeah, my coop matches my house too. And so will my chicken tractor! lol

I like it because it's good for my English

, I'am always interested in how people in other countries take care of they're animals.
I like the fact that there are lot's of different coops to see and don't forget the breeds.

The pictures of everyone’s chickens' will probably be my downfall. My chicken wish-list gets added to EVERYTIME I log onto the forum...but I can't stop looking!!!

Plus I have learned that "chicken people" are the NICEST people EVER. I now look at non-chicken people with suspicion

I like it, because where else can you get so much useful information for free. Try finding all the info on here in books and magazines and it would be very costly and time consuming. It's also alot of fun.

Because it has served me 24-7 from the first day I inherited my chickens. I have learned so much and know I have a place to go for my questions, my musings, and sharing with like minded folks who cry with me when I lose one of my girls, and celebrate when my babies lay their first egg.

I hope I am giving back to the BYC community for all they have given me.

And oh yeah.....the moderators and administrators are top notch !
