Why do you love your guineas? The positive side of being owned by a guinea

Oh that is so sad, what a shame that the eggs didn't hatch... Poor Mary-Jane and Spiderman! (Love the names!) Hopefully they'll try again next year! Xx
 
It is sad that there weren't any keets from Spiderman and Mary Jane. That would have been fun to watch. I did check in with a savvy FB guinea friend of mine and he said they can go broody more than once in a season, so you never know.

I've also had problems with fertility in my eggs - others have claimed similar issues with the French Jumbos then after chatting with my neighbor, she said it could be as simple as trimming their underside feathers to enhance contact! Who Knew? Stay tuned on that.... keep cool everyone!

Oh wow now your going to trim the underside feathers. That does make sense but that is going to a hard task to complete. Let us know how that comes out and good luck.
