Why does BackYardHerds site look so much cooler?

With all the stuff I got going on in my head and all the things I'm always working on I'm lucky if I can remember my wife's name.... let alone a small setting that was changed on a site years ago.

It could have been the default or a looser setting since we had fewer problems... don't recall, sorry.

I think BYC needs a picture around the words "BackYardChickens.Com". A picture of chickens pecking and chicks followung their moms or something like that. That would really perk BYC up!

I like BYC the way it it! And it looks COZIER than BYH!! And who needs pics around the title "BackyardChickens Forum" anyway! The advertisements are enough to catch your eye- for example, when I logged in tonight, I was cordially greeted by mealworm ads! Now what hen wouldn't be happy with that?

Maybe we could give the forum a makeover. We could call it "The New BYC" project. I can be designer . But of course Nifty has to approve. He can do the new designs as "constructor." (He's the only one that can,right?)We'll need a few "assistant designers", and the rest of the forum could be "voters". Here's how it works:
~A "voter" comes up with an idea.
~She talks to other voters. If a group of voters can reach an agreement, they ask the "assistant designers" about it.
~If they approve, they PM me.
~If I like it, I ask the mods.
~If they approve,they talk to Nifty.
~If Nifty likes it, he adds it to the site.

We can come up with additions to the forum and use them, until Nifty says he's had enough.

I've actually got an idea: Instead of blue background, it can be rainbow.
