why does my dog love to roll in crap

They just like the smell, my dog liked the smell of raccon poo, and what do you know....he came in stinking like...you know.

My dog eats cat poop topped with cat litter, and some dogs will even eat their own poop, because they like the smell of their own poop, it takes the meaning out of you think that your poop doesn't stink

Our show collies love to roll in horse manure but not in chicken manure. Oh yes, cat manure as well they would eat! UGH! When they get done, they come up to your face and pant with happiness......peeeeeeee ewwwwww, poopy breath! Get a mint!

Why do dogs eat/roll in poop?

Because it's gross, and dogs love to be gross!

That is what my dog does after she eats cat poop, One time my daughter forgot to flush the toilet and my lab ate her poop and walked up to my oldest daughter who has bipolar disorder and licked her in the face, boy the fit hit the shan.

well it has been three whole days since I gave him a bath but I have not let him go out unattended hopefully it will last a while longer........... I don't like having to put him outside in the garage that is not quite finished when he rolls in it, but I'm trying to teach him that it is bad and that he will be punished each time he does the rolling deed.....but it does break my heart when he looks at me with those big sad puppy dog eyes.
