Why does my right nostril burn ever so slightly?

Could be because I just chopped a serrano chili and touched my nose? I did wash my hands.

I knew I should have grabbed gloves.

Before or after nose picking

I hate the burn of peppers. Just touching a jalapeño will cause my fingers to burn for hours. Painful burn too. I can eat them no problem and the burn in the mouth goes away, but the burn on the fingers is unbearable. Darn skin.
