Why does my rooster do this?

I have been fighting him alot now and now I can fight him with my bare fists sometimes he even starts running away!

If he's backing down from you, there might be hope that he'll figure out that YOU are number one in the yard. Mine just never figured it out. He left my Sweetie alone for a long time, then began attacking him too, and he never learned.

When people talk about the "Soup Pot" or "Freezer Camp" they are referring to killing a chicken or rooster for a meal. The common fate of especially unruly roosters, and if I'd had a machete instead of a flower stalk, my roo would have been dinner that night (and I've never killed anything!!!!).

Can somebody tell me how to make him think that i'm the alpha creature and not him.

Keep in mind that you wouldn't want to perpetuate a line that is that prone to aggression. This is the reason many people simply send unruly animals to freezer camp. Unless their genetics are worth passing on, it is not worth the hassle of having that additional animal around.
