I have a rooster about 5 months old and he’s just started crowing he sounds a little weird compared to my older rooster I am just curious if it’s normal for roosters fist crows to sound weird or if it’s just his unique crow I inserted a link to the video I have of him crowing he’s the second one to crow tell me if it works or not
(uploaded the video to YouTube so you guys can see it)

Back in the 70s, I had a bantam rooster and hen. Leonard and Louise. Louise disappeared for a few weeks and returned with eleven chicks. They roosted in the hedge beside my bedroom window.

When the cockerels became of age, which seemed to be very soon after Louise returned with the brood, they practiced crowing. There were seven or eight if them.

Some sounded like they were gargling. Others sounded like they were trying to clear their throats of mucous. And they woke me up at 3 am every morning with their practicing.

I don't recall how long it took them to sound like real roosters, but the roosters I have now got pretty good pretty fast. But all sounded pretty pathetic at first. And each has had their signature crow, all different.
