I've hatched cracked eggs before successfully. I lightly brushed soy wax over the cracks before I popped them into the incubator. I have personally never had a blood ringed egg turn into a viable chick. I've left them another week to check development and they always stayed the same.Has anybody ever successfully hatched a cracked egg with a blood ring?
"A blood ring occurs during the incubation of chicken eggs when the chick begins to develop but then dies. The blood vessels which had begun to form begin to decompose and, rather than remaining attached to the embryo, they float in the yolk and form a circle which spans the circumference of the egg."
