Why does this happen?

2 yo hen she poops and it hangs on and forms a big blob! She seems to act fine. Should I be worried? Is there something I can do to help her?

Wash her up and trim the fluff a little. Some hens are lazy poopers or they have a lot of fluff that poop sticks to.

If it's a continual leakage or discharge that smells yeasty, then possibly vent gleet.

Have you ever treated for worms? Getting a fecal float will let you know if you need to address those.
