why doesn't my female have a crest????????

my female cream legbar does not have a crest. she also has scoliosis( the S kind) and is not the right coler. genetic disorder maybe?

Perhaps she is not purebred. Where did you obtain her?

I got her from atwoods or tractor supply. she was sold pure bred cream leg bar. I was wondering if it was a genetic disorder. her feathers are the same as my other cream legbar just not the coler.

Sounds like you got an Easter egger which often have Legbar in the cross and look like them only with a rose comb. Tractor supply and other farm stores tend to mix and match bins as chicks get sold. If there is only a couple left in one bin and a new shipment comes in they will put those chicks in with other breeds to make room.
