I have Some 1 Light Brahma & 1 White Leghorn Hen That don't lay nothing at all I give them calcium and they still don't lay nothing Could It That They Need a Rooster To Help Them Lay Eggs All They Do Is Eat,Drink, & Sleep And They Don't Give Me At Least One Egg and My Dad Is Always Stressing Me Out Saying: "That My Hens Don't Lay Nothing at all let's eat them they don't produce nothing so let's kill them" I Love My Hens But If I Have To Go Down Like That Then I Will Have To Eat Them All Cause It's Frustrating That Your Hens Are Not Laying I Have Had It With These Hens That Don't Lay Nothing What Could The Problem Be Cause I Really Don't Want To Sink That Low Just Cause They Couldn't Get Something Simple Done

How old are they? Can you post pictures? Do they free range? could be they are laying somewhere else?

Chickens don't always lay in the morning, mine lay anywhere from 1 pm - 6 pm, I can tell from the egg song.

Well Mine Don't Lay In Morning Afternoon or Night Do They Need a Rooster To Lay a Lot Of Eggs Cause I Have Another Japanese Bantam Hen And She Lays 5 eggs per week and She Has a Rooster and These Ones Don't

you dont need a rooster for them to lay. The only way you need a rooster is if you want fertile eggs.

Well What Other Reasons Could It be I Give Them Purina Layena I Give Them Fresh Clean Water They Don't Free Range All Day No More and When They Did They Knew Where To Lay The Eggs

From your above statement it sounds like at one point they did lay and now they don't, is that correct?

Maybe they are roosters LOL!!! I really dont know. All the reasons I can think of it doesnt seem like you are having those problems the only thing maybe when you free range them they have a certain spot in the area you havent found. maybe they are eating there own eggs. Im no expert my flock is just seventeen weeks.

If they laid at one point, it could be the heat, your Batnam is a lot lighter breed and the heat may not be affecting her as much. Or they found somewhere else to lay or something is getting in and eating the eggs or they could be eating the eggs. Neither really look like boys to me.
