Why ducks eat eggshells?

Yes all the time. I give her tomatoes + water + forage inside and outside of my house.

Where do you live and what type of food do you feed? I ask because I read some of your older posts and got the feeling you don't live in North America and that you might not have access to duck feed.

Well i live in Pakistan. And yes there is shortage of duck feed(poultry feed) .my duck mostly eat tomatoes and banana and some times she also eat rice and Oryza punctata.

Infact when I'm trying to give her other than that, she don't eat.
She is so moody.

She is a pekin (mix breed) duck and also i have one pekin drake. And yes cat , dog all foods are available.
