Why I am a dog person.

My friend ahs a brother who just got married. He and his now pregnant wife are living at the wife's parents house.
They have eight cats
two dogs
and a turtle

Thats all i saw at least.

So we walk in the house to see the newly wed couple.
There is a cat laying on top of the turtle tank, you can see its fur falling into the turtle's water.

The cats are every where, and the main reason i ran out of the house"

There was a litter box on the kitchen table.

The prego wife was EATING at the table, while a cat was doing its business.


I know that alot of cat owners arent like this, only the selective, but I think i'll stick with dogs, rats, and ducks.

Ewww....I have 1 cat, but she's goes potty outside where they're suppose to go.

inform her about toxoplasmosis (sp)
it is terrible and sometimes fatal to the unborn and is IN the litter boxes of cats

I have two cats, but NO they do not go potty on the kitchen table. That's DISGUSTING. I can't imagine 8 cats. I have two litter boxes for two cats, AND they go outside all the time too.
And I push them off when they jump on the kitchen table. I like kitties, but yes, they are a bit gross. Their mouths are dirty, and their paws are dirty, too.
Yes, toxoplasmosis, I agree inform her of that. Bleh.

I don't care for cats. My neighbor's cat last year got some of my bantams. They hiss screach bite and scratch. No thanks.

That's gross.... I have one cat, and I made my boyfriend clean the litter box when I was pregnant.... it's very harmful to the fetus! However, my litter box was, is, and always has been located in my laundry room, not on my table. Sick.

That is VERY nasty to say the least. She might want to consider moving or changing something not only for her health but for the child. Also once the baby is born if the children and family services people hear about that she will really be wishing she would have done something different.

ew ew ew! I like cats and have three but that is disgusting. My cats litter box is way out of the way. As others have said, definitely tell her it's not good for her unborn child. Maybe she just doesn't know.

I like outside cats.

But my oldest daughter brought her cat with when she moved back in. He isnt TOO bad.
