DH and I went to bed at 11 PM last night, which is roughly 4 hours earlier than our normal bedtime (3 AM). We were completely worn out from driving here and there for his doctor's appts.
So this morning I had a dream that woke me up. I dreamed I was riding a yellow mule when my cell phone rang. My cell phone turned out to be the size of a brick and it was hanging around my neck. I answer it and it's my DH telling me to hurry and get to TSC because they've got a new order of chicks in (DH excited about chicks??? - now I know it's a dream).
I stabled the mule real quick, jump in my jeep and rush off to TSC. I shove past people to get to the first chick bin and find only banties, and not just any banties, but banties the size of my thumbnail. In the bin with the banties is one baby owl, that's the size of a normal chicken chick. I pick the owl first and read the tag clipped to his wing. It says something about "thank you for helping repopulate the owl population".
The tiny banties are adorable but I know DH wants standard chicks, so I head over to that bin. The bin is empty. Then I notice this strange looking man stuffing the last of the standard chicks under his armpits. A chick shoplifter! I push past a bunch of people again to call security on the phone I saw hanging by the front doors, only I suddenly don't know where I am! Then I remember that I'm in Miami, Florida, but I still don't know exactly where in Miami, so I start describing things that I can see outside.....
Then I wake up.
From now on, I'm staying up until my usual bedtime no matter what!
