Most die hard vegans cling to the belief that animals and humans are on or very near the same level spiritually. Others hold to the it is healthier theory.

Well. I always said "If God didn't want us to eat animals, why did he make them out if meat?"
It's good to be a carnivore.
I never understood the argument that veg people don't eat meat because of the cruel standards of commercial farming practices. Why not raise your own or find a local store that sTore that sells organic humane raised meat?
Too many people are too far removed from the farm. They have no idea where meat comes from or how it's processed. Some dint even realize that the pretty package of ground round once had a face. So. I guess when you yank a carrot out of the ground you didn't end a happy life? Just because it doesn't scream when you do it doesn't mean it didn't feel something. How do we know? I try to limit my meat consumption only because it aggravates my own stomach digestion. I feel better when I do eat more veggies BUT. Give me a gorgeous smokey ribeye cooked over oak wood medium rare dripping with juice and slathered in melted butter any day. Drool
