My Celia is a Silver Spangled Hamburg, a little flighty, a little crazy. lol. She has 6 sisters all different breeds and everyone gets along. The problem is she will not let her tail feathers grow out she pulls them out as soon as they start poking through the sheath. The other girls are not pulling them out, their diet is fine - high quality feed, fresh veg, worms, rice oatmeal and seeds for treats, access to yard for scratching and hunting. Her and her sisters all lay an egg almost every day. They are fat, happy, spoiled chickens! So any idea why she hates her tail feathers?
