I have been hitting Monster and CareerBuilder for weeks now. I got an email from one place asking when a good time to talk with me on the phone was, but havent gotten a call (?)
I got my job at the place I was laid off from via Craigslist.. so not all are scams

It isnt like I dont have a job.. But if it rains I dont have work. And all it has been doing this week is rain. I need something that doesnt depend on the weather.

why dont ya'll go to your local Employment Commission and look for jobs there? That way you know they are legit..

I went to the local staffing comp and they were "excited" about my resume. I have an interview at noon. Today. Local.

We can make it with my working part time. But it has to be steady part time. Not "when it rains you dont need to come in" part time.

So I am throwing my hat into the ring for FT and looking to see what sticks.

It is not just CL that has scam jobs, I found one off Yahoo. I pushed the guy for more information and he stopped emailing me.
