Why is it called a "poop door"?

Hi!

Ok, I searched around on the site and found some discussions referring to poop doors, but nothinn explaining what a poop door is. Based on context, it sounds like the door the chickens use to enter and exit the coop. If that is correct, why is it called a poop door?

Yea there are Pop doors and poop boards / shelfs... two different things.

I wish it were a poop door. Wouldn't it be great if they didn't poop when they roosted and they'd wait to go outside in a corner of the run?

I have a poop floor no door....
they go on the roost and poop on the floor.
I have mine trained LOL
