It's called a stink eye because of the way the chicken looks to a certain object. Otherwise I'm out of ideas!

Because its a stinky look they give you I have one my daughter named Stink Eye cause everytime you came near her she would look at you like that. Now she is laying much better temperment and we cant tell who is Stinkeye anymore

I never heard the term myself till a couple years ago, and it was here I heard it. That term wasn't in my experience.
