Yes I have an auto turner & Humidity thingy (Octogon 20 advance & Humidity module)

Its just my first time with incubating with an incubator... we've gotten eggs before and put them with a broody.

I can't believe you candled and saw veining on day 4! How exciting! I would not worry about placing the egg upside down. I would just flip it back over. How often are you candling? I wouldn't be opening the bator to candle them too often. Day 7, Day 14, and again on Day 18. Hope this helps!

Let me offer a tiny, tiny, tiny bit of constructive criticism to help you out, 'kay? If you don't like it you can totally ignore it.

The title of that thread is really vague. The more specific you are in your thread title, the more a person can glance at it as they look through the list of threads and think, "Hey! I know a little something about that, let me click and see if I can help."

I always go to the more specific posts first, not because they're specific and I'm trying to be elitist about who has a nice thread title or something, but because the title of the thread catches my eye and tells me that there is an opportunity where I can help.

No this was the only time I candled because I am going to be out of town on days 5-7... I have kept my hands off of them!

Just didn't want them to be upside down that long if I could tell where the air cell was before I leave town in the morning... hence the anxziety about getting an answer!!!!!!



Funny! I just changed the name! It was more specific... but i jus made it more vague and put stars by it to see if i got more bites! That's Great! Now, I'm going to change it back... too funny!

That's hilarious! Glad you changed it back and I hope you get the help you need (I've never incubated/hatched eggs...that's on my "to do" list of chicken projects to try later this year... I've been one of those lucky people who's always had a broody.
