Why is my 16 week old hen crowing? Or is SHE not a hen, lol?

And that totally sounds like a short crow. My roo's is longer, but it's the same sound (after he got better at it, even).

Our rosecomb bantam hen has always crowed. She's dominant, except for our rooster. Its just in her breeding to crow, her grandpa was the Il State Fair grand champion crower. She lays good eggs and has been a fantastic broody momma, too.

My hen looked rooish for a while and thought she was a roo because she did have a red comb early so was wondering but those tail feathers sure look roo to me. I HOPE I'm wrong though but don't thing so. He sure is pretty though!
