Why is my 27 week old Langshan not laying?

Any ideas? Could it be because she’s still on chick starter? I have to feed starter because there are 15 and 16 week old in with her as well.

I think they take longer to start laying

Each chicken lays when she's ready, which means for some, 16 weeks and for others, 7 or 8 months.

The type of feed has no impact on her laying or not.

She is the black one on the left. This picture was taken a couple days ago.

She looks decently red in the comb, so probably sooner rather than later, though the shortening days of fall can delay onset of laying.

She laid her first egg today!!! So proud of her!!
