Hello!
When I candled my eggs, they seemed to be red inside!
From what I know, people see yellow? Does red mean it's fertilized or not?
Or is red normal? These eggs are an experiment for seeing if grocery eggs are
fertile. They were bought in Trader Joe's. However, I have no idea of the breed.
Thanks! :D

These eggs are incubated at days right now. They are very light brown shelled eggs. (NOT Marans) I will try to find a pic!

You'll know if your egg is fertilized if you start to incubate it and the veins begin to develop. Have you been incubating them? The egg contents will take on more of a reddish cast I there are veins but in my experience it mostly looks red when the shells are brown.

Actually, it's day 3 right now. During day 0, it was already red.
