Why is my chicken not flying on my lap

time and patience--I held all of mine A LOT as babies, and they always wanted snuggles as adults. You can use treats to entice them over but it's better to build a bond from when they are young, that way they will come regardless of whether there are treats involved or not. It is possible to build that bond with them as adults but it's a lot harder! Best of luck! :)
I go outside for mostly an hour or two sometimes 3 or 4 just to cuddle with them give them treats and hold them and talk to them. They seem calm mostly but sometimes try to jump off either to play or eat or they need to lay an egg lol

That's a lot of time! Once they get used to you and learn you're the one feeding them, they will come. Like I told my son, you must be calm, slow, and gentle so they trust you. It is easier to get them tamed as chicks, but chicks are a lot of work.

I'm still learning about chicken breeds! But yours are very pretty. I like white chickens. Do they all lay white eggs?

Thanks! And the white chickens lay brown eggs!
