Why is my chicken sexy?

Is Olive closer to the color or breed of the roos than the other girls?
The 2 that follow her all day are a RIR and an Ayam Cemani (all black everything, even his comb). The 3rd rooster is a rosecomb bantam (all black but not his comb & earlobes), who would be beat up if he tried for her on the ground, but tries for her when she’s up high where he can’t be beat up by the other 2. She is dark gray, almost black, with white polkadots, and the darkest female of them all & closest to being black. She seems like she likes the RIR the most, which makes sense because he’s got all the colors, and a red comb, unlike the AC nor RB.

Has to be some random rooster fetish.
They seem to love show quality challenged and the consistently brutal here.
Tucks the beardless Faverolles gets creeped on by peepers lol
She is impressively wedge shaped .
Hobo a Dominique that "sike" squats to flog the next lucky guy.
If he doesn't run she shows him his softer side.:)
Lol, she does act very lady-like about the whole thing.

No clue why she’s a favorite..perhaps she’s laying the best and the boys can tell? Or maybe she’s the highest in the pecking order so she’s everyone’s top pick...regardless this thread was a hoot to read. Definitely watching
Lol- she’s not laying just yet, but anyday now she should be. Like I said, there are 6 others of different breeds at the exact age, getting ready to lay or just started laying. And I don’t think we’ll ever know her pecking order status because they don’t leave her alone enough for her to establish one with the other girls.

So, this could turn out poorly for this attractive pullet. She may get overmated and injured. 3 males with how many laying females? They can go from looking fine to featherless and red/raw or bleeding and injured in a short time, so you’ll need to be proactive in keeping tabs on her health.

We have 3 males, plenty of space, and plenty of females, however we ended up with 4-5 females with very featherless backs/sides/head due to being the favorites for overmating. This happened pretty quickly. One pullet had a huge gash down her side to the muscle. We were not sure she would make it, but she’s fine now after a couple weeks of daily doctoring. we additionally separated the worst offending male to his own enclosure. After 10 days of solitary confinement, we gave him 2 females. He immediately mounted them to claim them/ show dominance, however, the 10 days of solitary must have mellowed him out bc he has been good to his 2 companions So far.

I agree. I never thought of that.
