Why is my duck burping?

My big male duck had bumble foot bad by the time I noticed him. I should have known. At that time, we checked all feet. We saw very little on others, but not even a month later the majority had at least a bump on their foot. So it happened real fast. Swelling--some soft (having no apparent injury) and some hard with a scab on it. I took everything out that might have caused them injury like wooden stumps, they like. It is hard to say whether they got a splinter or the infection just spread. Now I clean everything every night and change straw often. It is really a big event, the whole day.

I originally soaked them in epsom salt and borax. I didnt get result fast enough so now I do a very mild bleach (5 drops per qt.) altering it every other day. I rinse the foot in plain water and apply castor oil with turpentine or sometimes use iodine. I have used many other things, but they have not healed so well. I thought about giving them colloidal silver and spraying it on wound--at the very least topically. I have not done that yet. I wrap with vet wrap and cover with plastic, then tape. My big male has a wonderful sense of humor. I make it a game for him. I love working with him. My white female is the best duck. She is very sweet.

For nutrition, I give kefir or probiotic packet every day with electrolytes. I even add a little borax for fungal infection. I sometimes make them a garlic broth with many other goodies added to it. I make sure they have lots of turmeric. I give them MSM. I make them a big salad in the mornings with lots of goodies including eggs, garlic and ginger. I also let them chew on charcoal. Then I pray for their health.

I know I am in the wrong forum for bumble foot topic, but thanks for asking. I am concerned about them.

You are in a fine forum to talk about bumblefoot.

I would just do Epsom salt compresses (it is a laxative, so I would not just put it in bathwater), and follow that with the clear (clear, clear, clear not brown) iodine treatment.

Which is

Soften the feet with tub time - plain water - or with Epsom salt compresses.

Dry the feet.

Apply a few drops of clear - clear - clear iodine to the bumble. Let that dry.

Wait five or six days and check the feet. Very likely a dark scab forms. If not, soak again, reapply clear iodine, wait a few more days.

When the scab has formed, soak the feet again, to soften the scab. Gently try to loosen it. If it does not loosen, a few more drops of clear iodine, and a few more days, and the scab should be easily pulled out, taking a bunch of yuck with it.

Miss Lydia has used this method, so you can ask her questions. Haunted55 has used it, but she's not online much.
