why is my egg shaded? darker brown area on bigger end

    One of my chickens sometimes lays an egg that is darker on the bigger pole.
    Why?
    Does this have any important meaning or significance?
    Please look at my attached picture and you will understand my question.

    generally it's just a misfire in the color dept on the way out!
