Why is my hen’s face pale and crusty?

Hello, this is my first post.
About a month ago, I noticed that my chicken, Olive, was developing whitish, crusty flakes on her face. I thought that maybe it was dry skin of something, but it didn’t go away, and instead, seemed to increase. Her face has also been a little pale.
For context, Olive is an ~4 year old Dark Brahma hen that is disabled; we believe that she got sick when she was younger and never fully recovered, so now she has trouble walking. She has also been underweight for a while, we assume from not being able to walk very well. We moved her and another chicken (marigold) into a metal brooder in our greenhouse/garden a few months ago. Marigold was acting very sick, and we honestly thought that she was going to pass quickly (I.e in the first few days or week) but she ended up living a few months in the garden. She also had crust on her face, but it was much worse and we thought it was just because she was dying (She had also always been weak and got weird ingrown feathers on her butt). I don’t believe that this face crust caused Marigold’s death, but I don’t know what did (at first, we thought it was maybe cancer or something). Obviously now I see that it wasn’t the best idea to put a healthy and sick chicken together, but at the time we thought Olive would keep marigold company.
It is likely that Marigold passed this crusty face to Olive. She has otherwise been acting fairly normal — eating, drinking, hobbling around, taking dust baths — except for the fact that her poo has been greenish and very smelly (I don’t know is this is unrelated or something to be concerned about).
I have been sort of rubbing the crust off with my fingers but it comes back and I fear it is a fungal infection of some sort. Any treatment and/or diagnosis help is VERY appreciated! Thank you!!

P.s — here is a picture of her around a month ago and one earlier this week + her poo below.

Did you have a necropsy on Marigold? You mention she had the crusty face along with weird ingrown feathers. Did she have scabs/crusts on the skin under the feathers too or just the face?

It's possible this may be something that an anti-fungal cream can help with. With the other hen dying and having some issues, it's hard to know if she passed something on or not. So many diseases affect poultry.

Do the best you can and see that Olive is eating/drinking, that she has no lice/mites and that her crop is emptying.

It would’ve been a good idea to but we didn’t have a necropsy. Unfortunately it was a few weeks ago that we buried her so we wouldn’t be able to anymore. She did have odd sort of yellowish or white crust/gunk around the ingrown feathers (which were only on her bum) which looked sort of like dried skin if that makes sense? It was less flakey than what olive has on her face, but it’s possible that it was the same thing. She had had it and the ingrown feathers for a while before we separated them.

Olive is still acting normal and i forgot to mention that I also put electrolytes in her water because of the heat wave that we had recently and just to give her extra nutrients. Thank you for the help!

I feel terrible about what happened to Marigold. I know that I should’ve done something to save her, but i don’t know what. We gave her electrolytes in her water as well and she didn’t have any mites/lice. We just wanted her to be comfortable during her last days.
