Why Is My Hen Being Weird?

My hen is laying down high up in the garage. She is losing feathers and has not laid eggs in 4 weeks. Can someone please help figure out what is wrong with her???

Sounds like she's molting. She would benefit from higher protein feed for a while.

She is only 9 months and she can molt!

X2 on Hholly's advice. She is molting for sure these are all the signs. It will take her about two full months to finish the process then her feathers will grow back be super pretty, and she will start to lay bigger eggs now that she is older. Hope this helps.
