One of my orph is loosing feathers. I thought someone was plucking out feathers so I grabbed her and a handfuls came out. What's going on?

She's molting. All of her feathers will be replaced with new feathers.

As the leaves of trees fall in Autumn so do the feathers of a chicken. At this point most of the girls and boy in my flock(s) are in partial to full stage molt. Feathers currently outnumber the leaves on the ground but know that will soon change.
